OK, I admit it: I’m a bit of a shower freak. I normally take two (quick) showers a day. But I think that we can all agree that getting in an early morning session and then looking in the mirror at some point in the afternoon to see salt crust in the eyebrows is less than optimal. Here’s a thought: put a portable shower with your surf gear.

Problem is: most portable showers are bulky and hard to use. Not the Sea to Summit Pocket Shower. It is sturdy, easy to use and at about $25 reasonably priced.

This morning, as I was pulling on my damp, COLD wetsuit, I was thinking that I sure wish that the weather was warmer so that I didn’t have to freeze BEFORE I even got in the water.  I’ve heard tha putting your wetsuit in a dryer, even at low heat and only for a few minutes, ruins the seals of the suit.  I noticed that my buddy Andrew’s suit was completely dry.  He told me that last night he borrowed the wetsuit hanger that his roommate’s girlfriend bought for his roommate.  What a sweet piece of gear!  I love it. Check it Out!
